DATE

Jan 2022 – May 2022

The aim of this project was to take a chosen concept and transform it into an exhibition through a process of research and development.

The site was located in Coal Drops Yard, London. The space is currently (2022) occupied but it was open to the public. Therefore it was accessible and easy to analyse.

My concept was female stereotype and the expectation of women on social media. My aim was to remind an audience that every body is beautiful and there is beauty in everyone.

THE DESIGN PROPOSAL

A Final Visual of the Exterior of the Proposed Exhibition which I created using Photoshop.

The dates of the exhibition were from the beginning of June to the beginning of August and it needed to include a programme.

I created a catwalk exhibition space in which models showed the fashion designers work and the exhibition was an attempt to educate on how these garments mocked the female stereotype expectation.

There were talks by the different fashion designers as well as opportunities to try on samples of the garments. This would show people that model sizing is not always realistic and it hoped to teach people that there is beauty in their own body.
