INDEPENDENT
Creating innovative and engaging designs involve heavy interaction with the customer in understanding desires. There is a strong deadline requirement, and it is necessary to time manage wisely and effectively in order to meet and satisfy the client. I create complex and delicate pieces that can be recognised and enjoyed by all viewers. Sizing of work differs greatly, but experience has led me to large projects and scales. I help clients to visualise creations through imaging using ProCreate and Photoshop.
HEALTHCARE COMPETITION
Nov 2022 – Feb 2023
COLLABORATION WITH IMPERIAL COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF WESTMINSTER
Collaborating with Imperial College Medical students, University of Westminster Architecture students undertook a project to design a healthcare space for children with autism and neurological impairments. This collaboration emphasised the importance of considering diverse opinions to reach conclusions through a range of ideas and equal input. Processes include brainstorming, user research and understanding, sketching, communicating, mapping, Photoshop visuals, InDesign Files, and ProCreate Sketches.
CORPORATE PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE
Jan 2020
SPROUT PRODUCTION COMPANY, WIMBLEDON, ALL ENGLAND LAWN TENNIS AND CROQUET CLUB
I experienced the transformation of a catering space into a theatre and gallery exhibition to host the annual forum for Wimbledon’s sponsors and partners. It was beneficial working alongside practicing designers and producers to meet the needs of a client. Useful insight into AutoCAD from an early stage has proved useful in future designing. Seeing 2D become 3D, was helpful in demonstrating the processes followed through technical drawings and
language.

With 4 years of experience, collaborating within a team, I ensure customers experience superior service. Responsibilities include restock management, finance management, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. It has equipped me with valuable skills in customer engagement and accommodation, as well as refining techniques and swiftly applying knowledge in a high-speed atmosphere. I have learned how to deal with complaints and act upon customer feedback.
CLIENT AND PROJECT EXPERIENCE
May 2019
FAIRLINE YACHTS, MATTER LONDON, LONDON BRIDGE
I designed an exhibition stand for manufacturer customisation products, for Fairline Yachts at Southampton Boat Show. I experienced a client meeting with the designers within The Shard. Meeting a high-profile client was beneficial, at this stage, because it has allowed me to develop techniques when engaging and presenting to a client.
DESIGNER EXPERIENCE
May 2019
PES 2019, MATTER LONDON, LONDON BRIDGE
I participated in a client brief to create a trophy that would be used for PESʼs annual competition. Individually generating ideas that were then presented back to the rest of the team was beneficial, as I gained confidence in work in a studio team setting. I think it was effective to sketch conceptual ideas quickly so that adaptations could be made.
DESIGNER AND SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
May 2019
Following on from the exciting experience with Summer Day Media, I decided to explore logo and branding design through the use of Photoshop, as well as large scale printing and installation. This role allowed me to explore early so ware skills in a different studio setting.
SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
March 2019
I worked with the Head Designer for the advertising of Lego. In 2019, I learned early skills about the Adobe So wares. I have developed my skillset over time, expanding on skills and techniques that I was taught. I was taught techniques into animation frames, using Photoshop, as well as colour channels, cloning tools, and filters.
INSPIRATIONAL STUDIOS

Studio Ghazal is an architecture firm based in London.
As an individual-led start-up, the business has now
expanded to four practicing architects. The practice has an
artwork drive and a creative visual focus which is effective
in helping the business display both the visionaries of the
client. They hope to achieve inspiring and unique designs to
capture curiosity. Many projects displayed differed greatly
in their origin, intentions, and style.
For example, the Rarebit (Kitchen, Bar and Grocery) Store
graphics, concepts and visuals were very different to the
House Hut extension that was constructed in St Albans,
differing again from the Gardens of Marrakesh Balcony.
Studio Ghazal mainly targets projects because of their
capacity and ability of the architects. The practice took
inspiration from Moroccan texturing and tiles, as well as
other religious aspects; they delivered a proposal that was
colourful and captured each unique part of the artwork.
Studio Ghazal takes the time to get to know the client and
future aspirations of opportunities. Studio Ghazal is an
interesting inspiration because of the unique way that they
tackle a brief. Their approach is handled clearly with a lot of
care and passion, which clearly gives them an advantage
when it comes to delivering proposals. It’s easier to
approach a client with artwork because it’s easier to
understand the concepts earlier.

Jonathan Tuckey Design has captured my eye before due to
the innovative design of the residential ex-gas holders
located at King’s Cross, London. However, the firm are
heavily interiors-led so there is a possibility that the interior
of this project is far more striking than the exterior.
Designs are striking and unique and they display an
inventive way of recycling the infrastructure in a positive
way- the construction reuses existing structures from
previous uses which also adds to the character of the overall
aesthetic.
This practice offers opportunities to P1 and P2 architects as
well as interior architects and employees recommend
graduating, getting experience with a like-minded firm or
similar, and then going into further study- whether that be
further master’s courses or P2. All employees are involved
with all projects that approach the firm (around fifteen
projects per year) whether that be rendering, model making,
or client interaction.
Jonathan Tuckey Design is an interesting inspiration because
of the adaptive reuse of existing structures that may not
have initially been involved with architecture. Using unique,
abandoned infrastructure is an innovative idea to grab the
attention of an audience and bring in new attraction to the
firm. Developing more sustainable ways of living alongside
the reuse of existing structures is essential to battle the issue
of climate change.

Stufish are located in Kings Cross, London and the firm
specialise in semi-permanent structures, light-weight
material use, live events, theatre production, and
performance creation. The firm have returning clients such
as Robbie Williams and The Rolling Stones, working both
within the UK and internationally; there are many
opportunities to work all around the globe.
One of their most well-known projects is the ABBA Arena.
Made up of eighteen employees and two freelancers, the
firm run on a largely model making basis, however digital
works are used too. They refer to scale to help reflect to
clients what they might appear like during performance.
They state that model making is the best way to sell the
dream to the client.
Stufish work with external and internal lighting and sound
technical teams to corporate these features into the designs.
Stufish mainly work backwards from deadlines and rehearsal
dates to set time frames. AutoCAD is used day-to-day within
the practice to initially visualise ideas and help
collaborations and companies get on-board with designs.
They also use Rhino, 3DS Max, and Twinmotion, with
opportunities for animation.
Stufish is an interesting inspiration because of the mixture
between structure and special effects. It’s an opportunity to
display sustainability techniques to a large-scale audience
through the performing celebrities. It also has a lot more
scope for creativity.

Heatherwick Studio is a firm working in cities around the
world with a drive for positive social impact. The firm has a
vision for transforming functional space of purpose into
comfortable and domestic spaces.
For example, they has worked with the Maggie’s Charity to
create an environment for hospital users to feel better by
being in more familiar environments. The space included
elevated gardens and a focus on daylight flooding-
juxtaposing a depressing hospital interior.
Another project was a Rural Home in the UCB Campus.
Students were asked how they like to work and were at the
heart of the design.
They have even worked in collaboration with other designers
like Nani Maquina and seeked inspiration from rugs-
exploring the acoustic abilities.
Heatherwick Studio have worked with an Asian car
manufacturer to solve problems with air pollution- aiming
to explore how electric vehicles reduce air pollution; their
solution was to create a car that transformed into an
adaptable living space- the design focused on how cars can
be more social.
Heatherwick Studio is inspiring- the process they use when
designing; thinking about the user within the initial stages
which then feeds into problem solving, themes and ideas,
to later thinking about moods, materiality and details. It’s
interesting because they think about storytelling to scope
visuals and technical drawings.
